You know me, I adore anything cop related. This was so enjoyable and I am so impressed, that by the end of it, even if I am not 100% attracted to cowboys, I can look past that and say Griffin can country boy my as* any time. after being disappointed with Indigo ridge I started this with very low expectations but Deveney Perry really said I'm going to give you single parent excellence and SHE DID PEOPLE. h (heroine) rating: 3 stars. I will say that I didn't really get full enemies to lovers vibe here. Generally, I expect a bit more push and pull with that trope, but this one still hit the spot. Knox isn’t interested in sharing his space, but after a while he starts to warm up to the young mother and her son. There’s a lot of baggage they have to work through for both of them, some big secrets revealed, some sexy times, and a suspenseful moment…and they get a HEA ending.babes...what chemistry? im convinced ur either delulu or the author doesn't know what chemistry is because i felt like this was a regular one-night stand with nothing even remotely interesting to make it something more. Therefore, I am rating Indigo Ridge with 4.5 STARS because I found it to be a very good start to a series that is looking amaaaaazing and I cannot wait to read whatever is next. I loved Griffin as a hero and Winn as a heroine, both strong and vulnerable with each other at the same time. This series has a great list of characters and I am sure every single one will get the story they deserve. Devney Perry is one of my go-to authors and I am sure she will be for a long time. I loved the start to this series and I am impatiently waiting for Knox’s story now! This story was very cute, romantic and well written. I just personally did not vibe with everything, maybe it was the single-mom aspect? I am not sure. Knox was very sweet, over protective and I did swoon at multiple of his lines, but you know me, a book with police investigation will always be superior. That's why Indigo Ridge is still my favorite. This book had a pretty good beginning not only because of the romance but because of the mystery murder subplot.
