If you want something that is lightweight, then you’ll undoubtedly want to opt for the Andis Profoil. It weighs significantly less than the Wahl Finale, so if you need something lightweight and portable then you’ll want to consider the Profoil as your shaver of choice. I found your review of the FOILFX02 to be spot-on. While it wasn’t the most comfortable foil shaver (two days growth was as much pulling as I could tolerate), it DID shave as close as any blade. The American brand Wahl created this machine to ensure that you can shave your mustache and beard with minimal irritation on your skin. So let’s dive in and look at some amazing features of this electrical appliance. I think the choice should be between the Panasonic shavers or the BaBylissPRO. I think the latter has a slight advantage when it comes to the closeness of a dry shave and the fantastic battery life, but for everything else (comfort, versatility, speed, wet/dry use), the Panasonic shavers have the edge.

I am yet to use the Andis Resurge, so I cannot comment on that particular model. But the closeness should be very similar to the barber-style shavers, including the ProFoil and FX2. One advantage of the Resurge over those two is that it’s waterproof and can be rinsed with water, I really miss that when using any of the double foil shavers I have. But it is indeed more like a standard everyday shaver for the face and it even has a slit trimmer for longer hairs. In my opinion it won’t be ideal for skin fades, but it will work nevertheless.
