About this deal

Response time is a vital consideration for gaming screens, and the LG performs very well. Its average response time of 5ms is excellent, anything below 20ms is good for gaming. So far, among similarly priced 1440p ultrawide monitors, both the LG 34UC80-B and the LG 34WN80C-B have the best response time speed, with near absent motion blur and ghosting in fast-paced games. There’s a Response Time Control feature in the OSD (On-Screen Display) that you can use to further eliminate ghosting. Otherwise, the LG 34WP65C-B remains a stellar budget monitor that offers decent performance for pretty everyone out there; it wouldn’t make sense if it shined with features that most people buying it will hardly use, and in the process attract a higher asking price. And with the ultra-wide QHD resolution, 160Hz refresh rate, and plenty of other features, it’s one of the best and most well-balanced 34-inch monitors you can buy right now. What exactly are you adjusting in your settings? Appreciate the help in advanced. Though the picture quality is great, the performance is a tad underwhelming in the color profiles space. It can display 95% of the sRGB color space, and that’s about it. But the good news is that the VA panel displays accurate colors (if not more vibrant), especially when watching content. The brightness peaks at 300cd/m2. The ViewSonic VP3481 makes for a more versatile monitor because it displays 100% sRGB, EBU color spaces, and comes with AMD FreeSync support along with 100Hz refresh rate. That makes it ideal for game developers and creatives alike. On top of that, it features a very modern design with slim and sleek bezels and a pronounced 1800R curvature. What display settings / resolution are you running when you're in macOS? It's possible the "Default for display" is running something weird - if you go to Scaled, and mouse over the current setting, what does it show up on the left under the screen, eg. "Looks like YYYY x YYYY"?

The wide horizontal screen space provided by these monitors means you can keep 2-3 app windows open next to each other. At the same time, you can do away with the clutter of multiple monitor setups. More importantly, it removes the hassles of calibrating two displays. Instead, you have a single display with which you can calibrate as per your preference. Can you confirm what resolution macOS is currently displaying? Here's what my Display settings looks like when running my 27" LG 4K monitor at 2560 x 1440. The monitor is based on LG’s AH-IPS panel with 178° wide viewing angles, dithered 10-bit color depth support (8-bit + 2-bit FRC), and standard 99% sRGB color gamut. Additionally, you get your hands on a gorgeous curved display that is further complemented by a sleek stand. It’s highly inflexible. You can rotate, swivel, and adjust its height as per your liking. Same issue with Macbook Pro 13" 2020 and HP 34f or Dell U3415W. Both are 34" IPS panels with 3440x1440.

We recommend using the ‘Fast’ mode instead since ‘Faster’ can introduce some unnecessary visual artifacts (pixel overshoot).

Made an account specifically to chime in to confirm same as @damilhare before. I spent an accumulative 8-10 hours troubleshooting the same issue on my 34WN80C-B. So, so many ( failed) combinations involving HDMI, hubs, adapters, DisplayPort, etc. Finally fixed the issue via directly connecting via USB-C and then DISABLING 'HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE'. I cannot emphasize my level of relief when I finally saw those smooth, crisp fonts... heh The 21:9 ultrawide format also provides you with extra horizontal screen space, which is ideal for productivity work and video editing. Of course, games and movies will look more immersive as well! Surprisingly, fast-paced games have smoother playability on the 160Hz LG 34WP65C-B than competing 144Hz VA-panels with the same 3,440 x 1,440 resolutions, such as the Viotek GN34C as it doesn’t have much blur. However, there are a few benefits to using a high refresh panel including more fluid and smooth visuals in fast-paced games.

More importantly, it’s VESA mount compatible, should you want to keep your desk and table clutter-free and free from cables and likes. When it comes to productivity, a dual monitor setup seems to be an ideal solution. Both the monitor gives you the advantage of keeping the most-used apps and tools open to boost your productivity. However, the sheer number of wires and cables can be overwhelming. And it’s time you got yourself an ultrawide monitor to use several apps simultaneously and raise your productivity levels. The LG 34WN80C also supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), however, since it has no wide color gamut support nor local dimming, HDR is just software-emulated. The pixel response time speed of the LG 34WN80C amounts to 5ms GtG (gray to gray pixel transition) when the ‘Faster’ overdrive mode is enabled. Other useful features include advanced picture adjustment tools such as color temperature fine-tuning, four gamma presets, and 6-axis hue/saturation.Dengan berbagai fitur unggulan, Monitor LG siap memberikan pengalaman istimewa dalam berbagai aktifitas Anda, baik untuk bekerja atau untuk menikmati hiburan.
